Default Does this sound like a scam to you?

OK ladies, I know this isn't related to weddings in any way, but you ladies give such good advice and I didn't know what forum to post this on to get the best answer anyway. So maybe one of you can help me figure out if this sounds legit.I wanted to sell an item on kijiji, and this is the response I got from a person who was interested:"Thanks for getting back to me. I will like to know if you can ship the item to my friend in Nigeria and i will pay $120 for the shipping cost through Canadian Post Service.I will like you to provide me your best offer for the item. I will like to make the payment to you through PayPal as fastest means of payment. So i will like you to provide below information1) Your PayPal Full Name2) PayPal Full Email Address3) Kijiji Item Number4) Item CostSo that i can quickly make the payment through PayPal as soon as possible and once you confirm the payment you will be able to ship the item as soon as possible.I will be waiting for your reply."For anyone who does not use kijiji regularly, it does not usually require shipping. Everything else I have bought and sold on the site has been local and has been picked up at the person's house. The local sales seems to have been the intention of the website. And I have never used paypal, which is why I am leery of this request.OK I guess my hunch was right because you guys are all getting the same feeling. I just have a question about PayPal out of curiosity. In the email he said he would have paid my account first and then I would ship it to him once I confirmed I got the money. How would it happen that I didn't get paid then? Could he take the money back somehow?(Don't worry - I'm not going to go any further with the sale. Just curious.)

Total scam! First tipoff is Nigeria. They will offer to pay more than you asked, and want you to send the additional money back. You'll be out your item, and the money, and their money will be a fake check or no money in their account.I know you asked for ladies ... sorry.

My post office said that there are so many scams out of Nigeria to assume that it is a scam and don't bite.

LOL, I agree. Nigeria was a dead giveaway. A story like this was on 20/20 or Dateline, one of them. Don't give them any information...PLEASE!!
