Hi,I'm working on an apparel line, made in Italy, and I was wondering if retailers there in the US would buy from overseas, or woud rather a distribution in the US.It seems an obvious answer, but I've heard that the cost of postal service in the US is so high that it would almost be better to get an international shipping, considering the fashion house relies on a personal forwarder, which makes costs not too high.Also, any shop here can detract shipping costs from their taxes, is it like this also in the US? In which case, what would the difference be if you buy from a local distributor or just from overseas?Has it something to do with import taxes ans redtape?I hope someone has the experience to answer this. it just depends on who your selling your product to alot of small business still believe in american made, but the bigger business really don't care they want the cheapest product possible
