Holder has announced plans to revive the ban on semi-auto weapon and make it permanent, does this mean Uhbama lied about his citizenship too? The only "change" we seem to have gotten is a legalese change of defintions. Same crooks and idiots running the economy, different family in the White house is all. Foreign aid spending doubled, importing hezbollah supporters to live here at taxpayer expense, closing prisons and dumping criminals out not only early but before any chance of reformation, and wanting to deprive people of the ability to defend themselves and loved ones from criminals. Not all change is for the better. I'll turn in my guns when he proves he was and still is a native citizen. Not born in Kenya as relatives and officials there claimed, not having surrendered citizenship in order to attend school in Indonesia. Not having travelled to the UK from USA on a foreign student visa, or attended college with foreign aid. All things he has refused to document.Uhbama only produced a recently issued certificate of "live birth", which proves he wasn't stillborn, it does not prove where as a real birth certificate would. Factcheck.org everyone says "proved it" is owned by a Chicago corporation he used to sit on the board of. In order to attend public school in Indonesia he had to be an Indonesian citizen, if he gave up US citizenship to attend, (when he touched on the subject about education the other day he hit the predictable "uh" change- subject-fast reflex) he is no longer qualified as a "native" but "naturalized", the issue of if he obtained foreign student aid has not been resolved because he won't allow his collegiate record to be seen. In fact he spent over a half million dollars fighting a court order to produce his birth certificate in court before the election, and the battle continues. The media licking his butt decided the matter was closed, not the courts. The Constitution matters more than opinion.

You didn't even spell the president's name correctly. How many times over will he have to prove he is a citizen to people like yourself. He HAS shown proof. The proof COULD NOT be denied. It was thoroughly investigated and if it wasn't true then he would have never been able to become president. This was already settled. You don't have to like him. But he is your president whether you want it to be so or not. Many, many, many hated Bush and had to put up with it for 8 long years so now it is your turn to get over it.

Of course he is! He is a liar and is surrounded by liars and tax dodgers. He not only is going to ban semi auto rifles and shotguns, but will require a $1,000,000 insurance policy on each and every gun you own. No different than requiring car insurance. They will have a very difficult time amending the second amendment. All they will need to do is make it so expensive that we can no longer own them. The week before any legislation is signed into law every supporter of the second amendment should go to the bank and withdraw every dime they have. Perhaps they would get the message that the people still have the power. Lets see 80,000,000 gun owners X $1000 = 80,000,000,000 trillion withdrawn from the banking system. Might just get the message across.

Yes, there are two bills in the house now: HR45 and HR1022. Each deals with various restrictions on guns of most all kinds. I don't know what is happening with them at this time, but I have contacted congressmen with my objections. It is obvious that your opinion of our fearless leader is much the same as half the country. I don't know what is true of his personal history, but it doesn't matter now; he's it. There are so many of his hopes and dreams that would alter America (not for the better) and we must keep our eyes and ears open. He would socialize the country, given his way, and he has the congress to help him do it.
