What is a german mauser bringback worth?
That is possibly a good price. You are saying that it is a bringback...is there any documentation to that. That is one thing that would make it worth that much.I have a German K98 or 98K (whichever you want to call it) with all original German Proof marks, cleaning rod...all original with no import marks. I got it for 189 dollars at a local pawn shop. The bluing is approximately 75%, the wood has some minor dings and scratches but all in all it really is a nice piece of World War II equipment. The only thing I do not have is the original sling or bayonet for my Mauser.Mauser are highly sought after now for some reason or another and also they are getting harder to find. It took me about 12 years to find this one. Twelve years ago I bought one for my son for 89 dollars. This goes to tell you how much they went up.
