i come from an european country where you can still eat fresh food that tastes like it's supposed to. in my home country, everything from vegetable to meats had taste and most important - flavour. here either you eat a peach or a chicken brest they pretty much taste the same. if you want to eat cheese that tastes like cheese you buy a piece of cheese and you add cheese flavor to eat. and I' talking only about american food. because i live in a city where are a lot of immigrants and you can find imported food that tastes good. but as i was saying, i'm only refering to food you buy in the american stores like Farmer Jack or Kroger

I can make anything taste good. It's all in how it's prepared. Most are afraid to use spices and herbs beyond your basic salt and pepper. I grow my own herbs, and use different spices, like curry powder, and fresh ground mixed peppers. Anything tastes better seasoned properly.

Go to a Farmer's market to buy your fruits and vegetables or better yet find someway to grow some of them yourself. I've heard all my life that a lot of things taste like chicken but never have I heard of a peach that does. It must be one odd tree.

American food is pretty dire. I mean macaroni cheese over there is this stuff that you just add water to!? That is not real food. There is tasty food in America, but if you're not a fan of rich food, or are trying to avoid heart disease I wouldn't eat there! I know really that you can get good food in America really, but I really do know what you mean, its the imported stuff that actually has the flavor. Maybe its because they have genetically modified the flavor out of everything. Also English people are advised against drinking the tap water in America. Whats that all about?

I think you should stay away from Farmer Jack and Kroger.Get out and experience food. Go to dinner at a local Veteran's Club on a friday night. It's less expensive than going to a restaurant and experience some good cooking in America. We have some wonderful cooks in America you just have to know where to find them.

Kroeger is in the southern states, right (so are peach orchards)? The food is very different in the southern part of America. You have the option of buying a european cook book and making your own meals, because you won't find many european restaurants there - sorry! You could use the internet to order your cheese from anywhere you please! You are lucky to live in a city where you can sample a variety of international foods, it is time for you to expand your taste buds!ENJOY!

I'm sure there are some nice fresh food markets in Michigan that you can go to. Stop buying Oscar Meyer weiners and Kraft cheese and you'll get some flavor.

Well, I am from America so I am totaly used to eating this food (tasteless or not). It is regular to me. So, if I were to go over to Europe I would think that your food is not real or whatever because I am used to this American food.
