So I decided I want to start running to get fit. Along with a diet.I have fat clunky legs and i was wondering if it will make the muscles leaner or will it make them more thick? I was thinking of running for about 15 minutes. And one more question: What effect will yoga have on my body? Thanks

if you run, it'll build muscle, maybe your legs wont get bigger, they'll be more toned and less "clunky". yoga helps you relax and it also helps you stretch. pretty good for your body.

Running does a lot to your body.-It helps burn all the nasty fat off your body-builds leg muscle-tones muscle in legs-makes your heart and circulatory system stronger and healthier-ect....blah blahYoga is great! It helps tones your body too, but goes over many body parts and helps make your metabolism faster.

Running won't necessarily make you legs thicker, possible leaner. Running will help burn fat and will tighten the muscles in your legs, so your going to get pretty sore, if you start running a lot, but that just means your muscles are getting stronger. Yoga will burn some weight, depending on how long you are doing it. but its usually just a type of stress reliever exercise.

This is a medical question, really. Bodies react differently to exercise. What you could possibly do is look at a similarly built family member who you consider fit (if available) because, well, you cant escape your genes.
