UNITED STATES IMPORTS over 53 kinds of fruits and vegetables from 37 countries daily totaling over 800,000 tons.Every sixty seconds, thirty acres of rain forest are destroyed in order to clear land in order to farm fruits and vegtables for export to the USA.Killing hundreds of animals and leaving 1000's more animals homeless, who die becuase of lack of habitat.vegans are the largest purchasers of imported fruits/vegtables Supplying those companies with more money to invest in large corporations that branch out further into the Third World so they can destroy more rain forests and kill more animals. Is this not a direct link to the destruction of fuzzy little animals by vegans?

I love the randomly made up statistics there, Darius. They go well with the made up facts.Rainforests are mostly cut down for building material and grazing pasture, not fruits and veggies. And as an omnivore you are responsible for much more of the rainforest and vegetation growing then I am - what do you think your animals eat? 95% of soy is eaten by animals. Animals eat between 3 and 20 pounds of vegetation for every pound of meat you get from them.Vegans tend to be very aware of what they are doing, and buy local and organic as much as possible. Personally, about half the food I eat is from less then 100 miles away from my home. (I'm vegetarian, not vegan.)Do more research if you're going to try to insult us all.

Vietnamese food- Canh chua
Canh Chua (Fish Sour Soup) Canh chua originated from the Mekong Region, more specifically from Dong Thap Muoi. Canh chua is a fish sour soup made with fish from the Mekong River and so dua flower. This dish is mostly served when the so dua flower first blossoms at the end of the rainy season. A feast is organized and the fish sour soup is among the delicious meals prepared for this event. Fish sour soup must be eaten very hot. It must also be eaten all at one time since the taste is altered when the soup is reheated. |
