Why are companies in America held to higher standards and regulations of production (no led or GHB in toys and other products) and labor laws (health care benefits) that foreign competitor companies are not held to? We enforce labor laws but do business with nations that do not have labor laws (import/export taxes removed sometime in recent years). Doesn’t this cost America its jobs by creating unfair laws that make it more lucrative for companies to hire off shore (out sourcing our jobs) and buying products from nations with no labor or product safety laws?Does anyone in legislation understand that income tax comes from Americans that have job that pays for all the programs and salaries of state and federal employees?asnakeny- wow, I did not realize there are only two choices that can be had. Kinda makes the position of political leaders obsolite since no one needs to figure out a thrid possibility that secures jobs in the US without harming 13 year olds.
