Lead, Arsenic, Mercury. One of those poisons alone are deadly, and they're showing up in toys across the country. Why? Who in their right minds create toys that are full of poison? Is there a conspiracy to kill children? Has King Herod from the Bible been resurrected, trying to destroy children, thinking that the Jesus will return to earth as a baby again? Are plastics just naturally full of these poisons, and there's nothing you can do about it? WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?? Is that country in the far east, CHINA, to blame, yet again, for exporting stuff to us that will harm and kill us?

its probably just cheaper than non-poison paints...but still, I know what you mean. But seriously, the world is so stupid nowadays.

Mostly greed, Wal-Mart and others make products mostly from overseas and they make it cheap with cheap labor. You only make it cheap so much, so the suppliers started to use poisonous materials like lead. We blame the Chinese, but we should blame Wal-Mart and others too for not putting quality control in place. Hopefully in the future they will do that.

all they care about is $$$ we should rely on american workers and standards and not send those jobs overseas. our government also needs to set stricter standards on all imports

Because the big business companies who manufacture the toys try to make the biggest profit they can, so they outsource their manufacturing to foreign companies who don't have the same health regulations and screening that we do. It all comes down to poor product quality monitoring and a skewed greed to empathy ratio.

They do it because they don't care. I bet they have the same products in their house. So long as they are rich, they can care less about the outcome. The turth hurts.
