Istanbul vs Dubai
History vs Modern world? I would go for Istanbul. Istanbul is one of the most impressive cities in the world. A unique mixture of different cultures, a capital of 4 empires - Byzantine, Roman, Latin and Ottoman. The city is enormous but the old part is compact. My advice is: go for Istanbul.
