Hello All, I'm hoping for a bit of help with regards to somewhere to stay in Udaipur. I travel to Udaipur on the 9th March and am planning on staying for around 1 week. I'm a solo female traveler and am a little unsure as to how safe I'll feel walking around the city at night(this will be my first visit to Udaipur and my first journey as a solo traveler). With this in mind I am looking for a sociable budget guesthouse, one with a busy rooftop cafe would be a big plus for me as would a fairly central, safe location. I don't really require very much from the room its self, an attached bathroom and a fan will do me fine. My budget is around 500 Rupees per night. I'm hoping the experience of others might point me in the direction of a friendly but more importantly safe place to stay.
