Hello Bam09, I just typed in "I am moving to Beijing" into google and came across your post on the first page. It was very interesting to read all these posts and although it is over a year later.. I myself am moving to Beijing to Teach Kindergarten for a one year contract. I will be living near "Longze" station which as far as I know is close to Wudaokou, that sounds exciting. Anyways I have just turned 23 and am a very social guy, so I love night life of course! I guess my question is any advice from yourself now thtt you have been there for a year? Also I plan on backpacking as much as i can after the contract in Beijing, who knows maybe I will change my mind want to renew my contract for a second year, or take a year of that teach somewhere else. But my point is, if anyone has plans of back packing towards the end of 2013. Let me know. Far away I know. Thanks for taking the time to read my post, I look forward to your responses.
