eh... they are... 22... (I KNOW! It's embarrassing! It's not my fault, they come to me... I'm not a cougar :P) but yes they are much more mature and really goal oriented/focused. I dont like the "friends friend" I only talked to him the one time, I just think he is a really cool guy, so this guy is probably even cooler than he seems, because he is shy and doesnt show himself to me so comfortably yet (in person, in writing he tells me everything and then some about himself).
