Bangkok : Worlds Best City award 2010First of all, let us congratulate Thailand for having such a nice capital city, Bangkok. Bangkok has been voted the Worlds Best City in 2010, followed by Chiang Mai. The survey organized by worlds leading travel magazine, Travel and Leisure Magazine. Rounding out the top 10 on the "World's Best City" list, after Bangkok and Chiang Mai, are Florence (Italy), San Miguel de Allende (Mexico), Rome (Italy), Sydney (Australia), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Oaxaca (Mexico), Barcelona (Spain) and New York City (the United States). Criteria are based on: 1 Places for sightseeing, their beauty and greenery; 2 Arts and culture; 3 Food; 4 Shopping areas; 5 People's friendliness; 6 Value for money spent. Also Peninsula of Bangkok was voted the world's seventh best hotel. In addition, according to 2011 World Airline Awards Thai Airways was ranked as the fifth best international airline.There are many interesting things and a myriad attractions are the factor for Bangkok being the best city.
