My personal favorites are Barcelona and Venice. Of course, being from Croatia I would have to recommend Zagreb. It has the flair of Vienna with an eastern european flavor, great shopping and amazing history. It is a shame that people go there mostly to pass through on their way to the sea coast and because it's the capital. Great concerts in Zagreb also!.
