There are lot of places where this budget is sufficient for about 7 to 10 days depending on your spending habit. If you like mountains, snow then one of the finest place for honeymoon is Sikkim. If you not been to Sikkim go and have a visit there and don't panic about the landslide etc. Sikkim is very safe and the local people respect the tourists very much. If interested, take a train to Kolkata and then plan your journey towards New Jalpaiguri (Stn Code: NJP). There are a dozen trains which ply in this route and i am damn sure you will get one easily. take trains which are departing at night so that you reach the destination in the morning. There are a lot of buses which ply to Gangtok (Capital of Sikkim) after every 15 - 30 mints which will make you reach there by another 6 - 7 hours. Alternatively you can hire a private cab which should take you about 2000 bucks.
