Godaddy offers fairly cheap domain names, and 1and1 hosting is also one of the most affordable hosting sites I know of. It also depends on the purpose of the sites. 1and1 does not have a Cpanel, their back office for hosted accounts is limited in function, but you can host for about $12 every three months.

hmmm.. to buy a doman name i would go with godaddy. but i heard they are not the best to HOST. i am using them and i have not had no problems with the name. buy the name from them host MABY FROM SOMEONE ELSE.

just remember when you are registering a domain name make sure you do not have it on AUTO RENEW. (it will be in small fine print)

also look up some special saving codes online so instead of paying 9 something you can pay 7 something. since your getting a 100 domains this could come in handy for you

You may buy domain names lots of places without hosting them. (In fact, it's a very good idea NOT to let the company with whom you REGISTER your domain name also be the company who does your HOSTING!)

Register your domain names at say $5 to $8 per year somewhere. You can find lots of spots. Just look up domain name registrars on Google. Then find a good host. Godaddy, I'm sure, is good. Another is http://www.asmallorange.com

A lot of the internet marketing gurus use namecheap.com for purchasing their domains.

As for hosting, if you're going cheap then a lot of people use shared hosting on HostGator.com.

Be careful of going TOO cheap, though. I've done it before and uptime can be a problem.

I would also suggest spreading your hosting a bit more. 50 domains on one host site can be risky, especially if that host has uptime issues. I personally wouldn't put more than 20% of my domains on any one host, unless it was a dedicated server.

Sure any hosting place will offer you a special deal if you do this but i am concerned as to why.
The reason i say this is lets say 50 sites at 1 host. No problem there. But if you link all your 50 sites to each other. There is a problem. Well potentially one. As you will probably find they are all on the same ip address. So sucks with adds etc. Google not a big fan of this tactic. I guess i am assuming its for well lets say shady/blackhat things. And if so i would spread them out heaps more.
