Hi Joe, I agree with most of the guys above - Cape Town is definitely the best beach city in South Africa (and I'm not just saying that because I live here). I reckon we've got a beach for every occasion: - Llandudno - my personal favourite, incredible setting - Muizenberg - safe swimming and learning to surf - Camps Bay - beachside cafes - Clifton - beautiful people and great for sunsets I'm not a big fan of Durban's beaches, but further north along the KZN Coast you'll get to Sodwana and Rocktail, which have wild beaches and beautiful coral reefs too! I love that part of the country, and it's great to combine with a safari. Hope that helps. Cheers, Sandy.
