Western Australia has plenty to do, more so for those out doors loving people. Ningaloo Reef, the Kimberly, Mount Gibb Road, Kalgoorlie, and the Southwest. I am on a 12 month Australia trip and very glad we're spending almost half that time in WA. There is a lot to see here. As for urban development, I find Perth to be the best Australian city so far, but as soon as you leave Perth there isn't a lot of big city life..
