Why do visitors travel to Jamaica?
[quote:ebda868c87="marcm"] The island cuisine of Jamaica is also rich. We are talking about the island that invented Jerk BBQ cooking. The local food benefits from many culinary influences. There is nothing like Jamaican curry goat or chicken. Ensure that you try some local street side pan chicken. Patties are a cheep and delightful crusted snack very popular there.Marc M[/quote:ebda868c87]Now we're talking! It's the food! Caribbean food is so colorful, so fresh and Jamaica does it right! I love the fresh fruit flavors mixed with the spicy jerk seasoning on chicken or even better- fresh caught fish!I think you have to know that it's a rowdy island before you head there. It's not so much a family vacation place as it is an awesome college kid, party, reggae, hiking, having a Red Stripe with the locals instead of letting them get to you kind of place!.
