I know Barbados is full with luxurious resorts and all but I'd still recommend it to anyone wanting to go to the Caribbean. The expensive hotels are on one side of the island only (West if I remember correctly) and the rest is pure Caribbean swagger and hospitality. In spite of all the resorts all beaches are public, so no hotel can take advantage of its location to drive people away..
