Which is more like England - Australia or New Zealand
Sheesh - the answers on this post must have come from a lot of Aussies who've never been to England. NZ is much more like England. Oz is hot and dry, has spiders, snakes, crocodiles, poisonous fish. New Zealand has soft green rolling country, gentle green rain forests, majestic mountains, fiords to beat Scandinavia. And much more laid back easy-going people. Do I sound a bit one-eyed? Nah - couldn't be!In fact until the recent earthquakes they used to say that Christchurch was the most English city outside of England. Cambridge in the North Island is a carbon copy of an English village. And don't let any Aussie con you (they'll do that) that it is cheaper to live in Australia than New Zealand. Auckland and Wellington (the most expensive cities in the country) are ranked way cheaper than Sydney or Melbourne by reputable international rating agencies..
