Its very cold in Sydney at the moment. Most people I have spoken to agree. In the early mornings around 4 to 5 am you can feel the cold bite of ice in the air. It feels like there must be snow somewhere close by. It has been very windy as well. During the day it is hard if you are out in it but if you can find a sheltered place it is quite enjoyable. This time of year is the best. It is cool and refreshing and the sun actually warms you pleasantly; not suck you painfully dry like sitting in a microwave oven for an hour. If the cold keeps going the way it is now I would say there will be a good ski season this year. If you are visiting, I would recommend bringing your warm winter woollies and thermals..
