Search Engine Optimization is going to be competitive due to the high number of websites and many people are spending millions on their marketing campaigns. Working high demand keywords requires lot of time and efforts from your side and there are many people which are working on these keywords from last 3 to 5 years to get the top ranking for these very common keywords. So as my experience i choose the keywords which are directly relate to the website and with good demand but not the high demand, if high demand then will choose the less competition keywords.
