Hi, i am trying to do a payback calculation on LED fluorescent vs T8 tubesThe info that i have are:LED Cost/tube: 75$T8 cost/tube: 4$T8 ballast: 11$T8 Starter: 1.5$LED watt consumption: 16wT8 watt consumption: 50wLED life: 50,000 hoursT8 life: 10,000 hours number of fixture to be replaced: 108utility cost: 0.06/KwHHours of operation: 12 hours/day, 7 days a weekMaintenance (replacing bulbs): not sure the price hereInflation: should i take into account inflation for these calculations?I've tried using some online payback calculator, and it gives me 0.74 year payback period. To me that seems way too short, so that is why I need some help here :S

LED fluorescent tube replacement is not ready for prime time.A colleague tried a bit and fires the lamp quickly worsen. Less than a month the light output was too low to be useful T8 again.
