In the GTA, what percentage of waste from blue bins is actually recycled? How much ends up in dumps together with trash? Do authorities release data?

Recycling prevents loss of precious limited technical materials that can basically be recovered and reused in new devices. A great example of this are materials used to make cell rings and computers. These devices contain highly technical materials that are lost when tossed in to the trash. And lots of of these materials are poisonous!
