It all depends on what you'll use it for.

The nano is great for working out with or just adding some songs here or there that you like.

The Video is the better choice if you have a lot of music and/or videos because it has more capacity.

i have 300 songs in it and a movie

if your purpose is to just store a lot of songs, then go for the classic 160gb..

you'll never run out of space.

Get the 2nd Gen! It has speaker and volume stuff on the side. Plus 90 is a bit expensive for a 1st gen, i got my 2nd gen USED from an online site for 100$. There nothing better about the 1st gen.
