![]() Perhaps you are consuming too much red meat which is probably the worst food there is for clogging you up. Eggs don't help either.Besides plenty of fiber you also need plenty of bulk or roughage that you can get from plenty of fruit and vegetables. Plenty of water also helps.

![]() I fight an ongoing battle with what seems to be constipation. Having a bowel movement every 2 or 3 days seems to be my norm, but sometimes I go for a week without a bowel movement at all. I make sure and eat plenty of fiber, and recently I've been trying to drink a lot more water, but still, about once every month, I'll have that one week or so where nothing comes out. I am also active, I walk, bike, and do yoga. How can I fix this?

![]() Try taking a fiber agent, or miralax.Miralax will get you on a regular schedule with you BM's If you start to get pain for being constipated then take a stool softener. You should go see a stomach doctor.

![]() Does your bad week center around your period? Mine did. Menopause cured it.Try Metamucil for a while. Try prune juice or grape juice, too. If none of that works, maybe you should see your doctor.
