All you really need to do is stretch...Your legs may get a little sore since you're not used to using those muscle groups. I;m not used to riding bareback..and I was out there riding bareback yesterday and my inside thigh is a little sore. Your center of balance needs to be good...So if you have Wii fit get on it. ) haha Actually, if you're goiing to take classes, like yoga, I heard Pilates helps.. I'm not exactly sure what that is though...

Exercises especially modify for horse riders are the best. Whatever time and money you allocate is well worth it. It is true that there are muscles in the body that are never affected by the most common forms of activities including walking.

Regular riders know that a strong core doesn't only provide you with power and control, it keeps you upright on the horse and saves you from the pain that can sometimes plague your back due to poor form. Your abs are part of your core, the area that spans from your hips to your thighs. Use abdominal exercises, along with other core-training exercises, to help you ride your strongest and best.
