Sounds like blackmail for their indescretions doesn't it? We are Paying Through the Nose and they just Cut the money for the Border Patrol, giving up sovereignty, civil rights and the Constitution they swore to uphold.

Not only did america 'let' the jobs be exported, dumbfuck Bush gave monetary reward to businesses that moved overseas. The cost of buying cheap imports is enormous - not only are they not safe or properly regulated, the cost of lost jobs in North America will bite us in the ass as our communities lose jobs bigtime (and they already are), further reducing us to work for lower wages. Ultimately, if this cycle continues, the Chinese standard of living will rise, while ours will lower dramatically as unemployment rises. To compete for jobs we will have to work for lower wages and accept a much reduced standard of living. Buying cheap imports at discount prices costs us bigtime ! Support the local producers, even if the price is higher, the rewards are many and long lasting. Remember, our higher prices mean your father - mother - sister - brother has been paid enough to have and enjoy a quality of life, assistance programs for the unfortunate are paid from those who make decent wages. Everyone gains.Having said that, it would be nice if the unions would encourage workers to a higher ethic, putting quality/pride into their products and efficiency into their work. The quality of some of our local productions is shameful and makes it hard to justify the higher prices. If we can't afford North American, let's do without. The world will be the better for it too.
