Quebec city is nice. If you're visiting Montreal, you should definately visit the Old Port where you can walk along the cobble stone roads and eat is some really remarkable restaurants. St. Joseph's Oratory is pretty cool too. It's a giant catholic church with lots of neat stuff to see inside. It's harder to visit museums these days because of some of the language laws. You should be ok, but there's a lot of things here that are only in French...

don't bother seeing the st Joseph's Oratory in Montreal I was quite disapointed when I went to see it. I suppose it would be different if I was catholic but I'm not and it wasn't . In Montreal I do recommend visiting the Biodome its kind of hard to discribe it has plants and wildlife representing the rainforests, arbourial forests etc. Worth the visit. Also depending on the time of year its nice to see the view of montreal from the mountain. Also Quebec city is nice anytime of year I tend to stay away from it in the winter because of carnival and the crowds.
