Default What is the cheapest way to travel the world?

I want to travel the world before i become older and not able to do it but i don't have a lot of money to travel the world and visit some of my best and favourite countries like australia, south africa, japan and canada. what is the cheapest way to do it all

well at some point you will go by plane or boat but most of the time go by train thats alot cheaper and then go by boat at the points you need to cross the ocean it most likly be cheaper than plain

you can get a round the world ticket--usually it lets you stop in 5-7 countries over a period of time. another way to do it on the cheap is get a work visa and pick fruit in australia, etc and earn your way as you go

You can get a "round the world" airline ticket for as little as $2000 depending on how many places you want to visit along the way and where exactly you plan on visiting. Generally it is cheapest if you stick to North America, Europe, and Asia - including South America, Africa, or Australia/New Zealand/Pacific Islands will add a lot to the cost of the ticket. Try sites like Airtreks or Air Brokers.
