Sounds good to me.
They should really have their own mowers, gas and stuff but sometimes you need to have a mower.

She should at least get minimum wage for baby sittingOver nights sitting is fairly easy so maybe a flat rate for that.

My friend is sort of starting her own business doing odd jobs for people. mostly the older people in town by where she lives.
She is doing things from Yard work to house keeping to baby sitting.
she is going to decide on rates as she goes but needs an idea to start with. I agreed to help her figure this out.
For basic yard work (mowing grass, weed wacking, ect.) she was thinking about charging a going rate of $12/h although that would be nagotiable, but the fee would have an additional $10 for travel, as well as $20 if she needed to supply poducts. as for really long grass that needed extra care she would go in a first day, charge a flat fee of $40 so that she could get it to a length were the lawn mower could cut it properly. That would be for out of control cases.
Does that fee sound fare. we ar in Alberta Canada.
Also, what would a good fee for baby sitting be? Should the rate change if she needed to take care of them over night?
