What do you see as the difference between imported craft beer and domestic beer?

Actually, that's only partially correct. An imported craft beer is just that, an imported beer from another country. Meanwhile a domestic beer is brewed in this country. If both are craft beers then the answer above is partly correct.

I think by this question you might be referring to domestic beer as beer like budwiser, coors, miller...etc. as opposed to sierra nevada, samuel adams, or maybe on the imported side Chimay, Samuel Smith... In a nutshell the biggest difference is taste. Craft brews usually use a lot more ingredients than mass produced beer and therefore has much more flavor. Most craft brews tend to also have higher alcohol content- once again depending on the beer. There are so many different types of beer out there distributed through craft breweries; and its fun to try new types and discover that there is more to beer than just "American Lager". - Cheers!

The differences I see are between beer brewed by large companies who have a huge market and try to please their entire market at the same time and smaller companies that actually care about taste. These differences exist in all countries.

Domestic beer is more delicious.:) imported beer is cheaper than domestic. But if you want quality, you will buy domestic.
